It looks like I am done moving around for a while! So Rhode Island is my home all over again, I managed to bring some super cold weather with me here. It is probably 75 degrees or higher in Southern California and here I see snow!

I had a lot of rest to catch up on and I still haven’t really unpacked all of my things. I also have all of my Christmas decorations still up so loads of work ahead of me! I am the worst at packing and unpacking anything:-)

It looks like WordPress has changed it’s website loads and I honestly DISLIKE it big time. So I am want to apologize now if I have lost my regular format for recipes, images and so on.

If you have been following my posts for a while now you may have noticed that I have been playing with pomegranates and oranges much more recently. I am completely in love with how these two fruits taste together plus the punch of health benefits they provide. It doesn’t hurt that the juice from these fruits looks absolutely stunning and can charm it’s way into most people’s hands.

But let’s get juicing😉

Yesterday I made myself a yummy Charming Beauty Health Promoting Cocktail.

image

Kernels from half of a pomegranate
2 blood oranges, or whatever seasonal oranges you can find (blood oranges add a great color, and have a slight grapefruit taste giving the juice another dimension)
2-4 celery sticks depending on your personal preference
1/2 inch ginger
1 Granny Smith Apple

I have made something similar to this before yet not really haha. This juice is far more fruity! Oranges are amazing for our eyes, especially the retinal area. In my previous Beauty Health Drink I mention the health benefits of some of the other ingredients, please feel free to check it out:-)

The one ingredient that might sound a bit random is celery. Celery is a “negative calorie” food, adds a nice salty flavor without using actual salt, and is a diuretic. I have also heard from some very resourceful friends that celery has an aphrodisiac effect😉 just a heads up hehe.

I personally love putting my juicing in different types of glasses and having fun with it. Juicing should never feel like a chore!

I have had two close friends ask for a Peaches n’ Cream Pie Smoothie Recipe. As much as I enjoy peaches it has been years since I have had a truly mouth watering yummy dripping peach. My mother was kind enough to buy me some fruits and things so the fridge wouldn’t be completely empty of foods I eat. So oddly enough I noticed I had everything around:-)

Peaches n’ Cream Pie Smoothie

1 cup frozen peaches
6 cubes of mango, this depends on the level of peaches of your peaches
A little less than half of a fresh vanilla bean
A dash of cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger
1-1/2 cups water, depending on your preferred thickness
1/2 teaspoon flax meal, this is how the pie/crust flavor is created. Using walnuts or almonds works wonderful also.
1/4 teaspoon coconut oil
2 tablespoons orange juice

Add as much or as little of your preferred alternative milk after you have created the peaches mixture. I used sesame seed milk😀 If you are looking for a thicker cream, try using coconut meat or yogurt. Once you create the same thickness and texture with your peaches mixture and coconut cream you can make lines and other funky designs😉

Some other ideas on what to add:
All spice
Dates
Dried apricots
Cashews
Coconut Meat
Frozen Banana
Yogurt
Strawberries
Chia

I hope this gives you all some ideas on concoctions of your own! I hope you have some of these ingredients already around the house. I’ve have noticed that I tend to spend more money on groceries when I am trying out someone else’s recipes. Thank you all for taking the time to stop by my site. Much love❤ and raw power😉
